Prof. Dr. Md. Shahadat Hossain is a highly respected Physical Medicine, Pain Management, and Rehabilitation specialist in Dhaka, with over 25 years of clinical experience in treating chronic pain, arthritis, paralysis, sports injuries, low back pain, neck pain, frozen shoulder, knee osteoarthritis, sciatica, disc prolapse, and musculoskeletal disorders. He completed his MBBS and FCPS (Physical Medicine) and received advanced special training in Interventional Pain Management and Musculoskeletal Ultrasound from Thailand, Hong Kong, and India, making him particularly skilled in image-guided pain procedures and non-surgical rehabilitation. Currently, he serves as Professor & Head of the Department at Mymensingh Medical College & Hospital and has previously held prestigious leadership roles as Ex-Principal of Sir Salimullah Medical College (Mitford Hospital) and Ex-Vice Principal & Head of the Department at Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College & Hospital.
